Peran Al-Qur'an dalam Pembentukan Masyarakat Islam: Perspektif Studi Islam

Abstract

The Qur'an, as the final revelation from Allah, plays a central role in the formation of the Islamic community since its early history. As a comprehensive guide, the Qur'an provides spiritual, social, economic, and political guidelines that direct the Muslim community to create a just and harmonious society. From the perspective of Islamic studies, the Qur'an serves not only as a holy book but also as a source of law (sharia) that governs various aspects of life. Through its teachings, the Qur'an advocates concepts of justice, brotherhood, social solidarity, and equality that underpin interactions between individuals in the Islamic society. The process of forming an Islamic community based on Qur'anic values involves the application of moral teachings, family regulations, as well as the rights and duties between individuals and groups. These concepts strengthen the Qur'an's position as the primary foundation for building a society grounded in monotheism, diversity, and integrity. Therefore, the study of the role of the Qur'an in the formation of the Islamic community should continue to be pursued to understand its relevance in today's social context. In this way, the Qur'an remains a key reference in shaping the social and moral structure of a civilized Muslim society.
