Abstract
This study explores the optimization of facility and infrastructure management at TPQ Ibadussholihin, located in Banaran Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency, as a strategic effort to enhance the quality of Qur’anic education for children. The research is grounded in the importance of providing a conducive, clean, and supportive learning environment, particularly in rural Islamic non-formal educational settings where resources are limited. The main objective is to identify effective strategies for managing educational facilities that are locally relevant and sustainable. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results indicate that both physical and non-physical infrastructures are managed adaptively, collaboratively, and based on real educational needs. Improvements in learning space and the structured management system have significantly increased student motivation, engagement, and overall Qur’anic learning outcomes. It is concluded that infrastructure optimization is achievable even with minimal financial resources, provided that strategic planning and community involvement are prioritized. This research contributes to the discourse on community-based Islamic educational management models.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini membahas optimalisasi pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana di TPQ Ibadussholihin, Desa Banaran, Kecamatan Pulung, Kabupaten Ponorogo, sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Al-Qur’an pada anak. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya peran lingkungan belajar yang layak, bersih, dan mendukung dalam proses pendidikan Islam nonformal, terutama di daerah pedesaan dengan keterbatasan sumber daya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pengelolaan fasilitas pendidikan yang efektif dan relevan dengan konteks lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana dilakukan secara partisipatif, adaptif, dan berbasis kebutuhan nyata. Perbaikan infrastruktur fisik dan penguatan sistem non-fisik berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar, keterlibatan peserta didik, serta kualitas pembelajaran Al-Qur’an. Kesimpulannya, optimalisasi fasilitas dapat dilakukan meskipun dengan keterbatasan anggaran, asalkan dikelola secara strategis dan melibatkan peran serta masyarakat. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan model manajemen pendidikan Islam berbasis komunitas.
